About

About The Owner

My passion for dogs started at the age of six, in a household with six American Pitbull Terriers. By eight, I had my own dog, Bear, marking my first real companion and responsibility. Sadly, after a neighbor, angered by not being able to purchase a dog from us, poisoned Bear, I lost any desire to own another dog for a long while. During middle school, having been without a dog for years, I connected with some individuals who had an aggressive rescue named Diesel. Diesel initially appeared unpredictable, but we gradually developed a strong bond. After extensive work, Diesel became sociable enough to interact with new people calmly. This turnaround rekindled my love for dogs. As a high school senior, I was given an American Pitbull Terrier named Ghost. Ghost was the first dog I trained from a young age, and he showed promising progress. Yet, within a year after high school, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, leaving Ghost with relatives. While in service, I helped other Marines with their dogs from time to time. As my active-duty service concluded, I chose to professionalize in dog training. I attended American K-9 Interdiction to become a trainer/handler for working dogs, and that's where I met Kill, my partner. Kill motivated me to specialize in behavioral and aggression training, prompting me to participate in various seminars post-AK9I graduation. I was also fortunate to work with a company that supported trainers in attending additional seminars to expand our knowledge and skills. My family and I moved to Fort Wayne, IN, because my wife, who is still on active duty, received orders to serve here as a recruiter. Rather than working for someone else again, I decided to embrace the challenge of starting my own business. This allows me to pursue my passion for dog training with my own vision and offer various services to clients that I've aspired to provide for years.
